Course Description

Introduction to Industrial Robotics examines the fundamentals of industrial robots, including their anatomy, functions, and the essential terminology relevant to the field. Articulated Robots examines articulated robots, including their structure, operation, and applications. Delta Robots examines the development of delta robots, including their basic operation, key applications, and unique advantages and limitations. Gantry Robots looks at the design, applications, advantages, and disadvantages of gantry robots in industry. Selective Compliant Assembly Robot Arm (SCARA) focuses on their operation, working envelope, and applications, and examines their advantages and limitations in the industrial environment.
